Room 5- Watch out for daily updates.
Hello from Miss Bonsor, Room 5 Roxy and Jackson who have written our first introduction. We are going to tell you about a normal day in the life of Room Five, Pongakawa.
In the morning before bell we all play around on the playing field, front courts or just chat and catch up on things. After the bell we usually have Spelling and Handwriting/cameo or recount writing.
We are also growing beans. We go out every mornring to have a look at how they are getting on. There was also a chrysalis nearby which we had been watching. We filmed it metamorphosising. Have a look at our video. It was soooooo exciting.
Morning tea. YUM
Kids eat play and more play.
Then after Morning tea we have to settle down into swimming. Our Swimming sports was in week seven on the 20th and 21st of March. Look out for some awesome photos. Well done to those who made it through to the inter-school event on Wednesday 3rd of April. After swimming we settle into maths. Week 7 was testing we had all sorts like Math and Spelling.
Lunch Time
We get to play a whole hour and our teacher Miss Bonsor runs a film and meida club and to see what they have done click onto this link
WELCOME TO TERM 2
PONGAKAWA FILM AND MEDIA.
After a fun lunch we do some Reading comprehension. Once we have done that we go on to our Topic or Art. Our Topic this term is about Countries Around The World. For art we have been learning how to draw people and ourselves in action shots. Look out for a slide show of our creations. While some people finish off their work we get to take some photos. Then it's HOME TIME.
